It is so tiresome to have you and others quote people who died so long ago that some of their molecules may now be a part of an Oldsmobile.

There is no proof of this; the statements do not necessarily follow, although you'd like them to.

"Therefore, what we have, we were given."

Illogical conclusion with no underlying proof.

It is just as likely that the universe was formed, and man, evolved, out of the theory of random chaos. Man as a species is a pattern seeker--it is for some reason the instinct of most men to make order out of chaos. They need to do that in order to feel secure. That need is where belief systems come from. We need them, so we invent them, or adapt them from earlier belief systems and embellish them to make them our own.
