The reason they are cashed strapped is because - they are too risky for the big money to invest in them, and they have grossly underestimated the cost of developing their venture. That does not mean they are crooks, or scam artists.

The companies trouble with the SEC has scarred away lots of investors, and rightly so, and then add Bre-X to the mix and you have what you have. Not much to be frank, except for the rights to one of the historically richest Gold deposits on the planet. Hmmmm. Ask Pizarros ghost about that section of the planet.

GE may be poorly managed, with little regard for deadlines but that does change the fact that 1. the proven 6.4 M are there
2. the proven is not there
3. something in between.

At the price that I bought this stock, 1. and 3. are acceptable.

You do not know the gold is not there anymore than I know that it is.
At this juncture, it is all a matter of faith one way or the other. Is it not?

I THINK that the history of the region provides a very good argument for believing in #3. Do you really think the indigenous peoples with their picks and shovels have stripped this area clean??

The only real argument for dumping MINE you have not provided.
This is that the gold present cannot be removed profitably. That I will
consider at this point with POG so low.

I will not be crying if MINE stock goes to 0 any more than I cry when my lotto tickets do not pay off. MINE represents under 3% of my portfolio, I always invest a small percentage in highly speculative stocks, and MINE definitely qualifies.

Of all the less than .25 stocks I have investigated, I like this one the best. Until GE claims are disproven by reputable, believable parties
who have gone and done their won analysis MINE is a junk stock that just might pay off. Just because Guidos proven claim is high, does not mean it is not true, it is just extremely hard believe, I agree with that!

FWIW - Colleen, thinking about the SEC putting the MINE management through hell. I do not envy them. (I am sure you think that they deserve it!!)
