PMTC/CVN has tons of these types of fluff pieces. We know of a number of pilots for big deals in the next year and with the past history of SDRC's win rate in these types of deals, we believe eps in '00 could easily be > $2.50. Windchill is still work in progress, so for the contracts to be signed in the next 12-18 mths, you're looking at SDRC and in some cases DASTY from IBM customers with big investments in their legacy systems.

Unigraphics goes public today. Since DLJ, H&Q, and Morgan Stanley are doing the deal they will be taking part of the offering for their own accounts and hyping the hell out of it. The syndicate offering piece mentions Airbus as an EDS customer and also hypes IMAN as great PDM system. The bottom line out of it all is that Winchill, Iman, Optegra & whatever Dasty comes up with in their new and improved PDM system (whenever that vaporware is ready) are still nowhere near Metaphase. Everybody wants a chance at these mega deals but SDRC is in the driver's seat. Talkers can talk all they want but SDRC has won the enterprise deals at Ford, Boeing, Nissan, Toyota?, and have the PDM side at Daimler just to mention a few of the more prominent deals. Why after extensive pilot progam tests did they select SDRC and none of the above.
