Shane,

I never said anything about IBM, either positive or negative. I just said LSI is not quite as good as you believe IMO. There is heavy competition in every sector they compete in and pricing is reflecting that. Don't let Corrigans talk fool you, the results speak for themselves. This competition is preventing them from leveraging their HUGE R&D investments and that is why I believe a merger is the best thing for shareholders. In addition, simply spending a lot in R&D doesnot guarentee anything, especially when so many people are chasing the same thing (which will only get worse given the slowing in the PC sector)

Overall I have a 2/3 position at 21 1/4 and will be as happy as anyone if lsi stock goes up. I told you at 21 I thought we were very close to a bottom. Earnings don't matter anymore, Asia is the focus and I still might get the chance at that last 1/3 below 20. I'll be happy either way.

BTW, what is the significance of me mis-spelling "Dipy"? I mis-spell a lot of things but I didn't realize there was a correlation between that and opinions on LSI.

Hope the weather improves for you so you can get some exercise..
