OT jg, With all due respect, I have been receiving that email or one of several variants periodically over the past 4-5 years. I don't know what "wrecked" those systems, but I promise you that it was not a result of someone simply clicking on an email to read it. Email readers don't execute any programs, they just display text. There is no way for this to "wreck" a system. Perhaps somebody attached a virus-infected program to an email, which somebody detached and ran. But more likely something "bad" happened, and somebody inexperienced jumped to the wrong conclusion. Maybe even your ISP was hacked, and the message isn't even from them at all! These things happen. If your ISP knew what it was talking about, it wouldn't have sent you a copy of a well-known hoax message that has been circulating for years. It would have sent you a professional notice with appropriate explanation. It certainly wouldn't have requested that you forward the message to as many people as possible, which is highly irresponsible. It would have issued a press release. You might want to check Microsoft's press releases for email virus warnings. I'm pretty sure you'll come up empty... Regards, Andrew
