Maybe it is caused by the DOP files??
Out of ideas after that..
Dick.

Richard, my primitive test shows the original QP2
program (on CD) will crash and corrupt existing
MetaStock data if the data has more than 12-year
data. To verify, try to update MSFT, or INTC data
from any other vendors. (or use Downloader to create a
file from ASCII data).

The new QP2 updates (posted on their web site)
will not crash if the data has more than 13 years.
However, if the data has around 3000 records, the
program still crashes. In both cases, QP2 still cannot
update the data correctly.

Everything is fine if your data is less than 10 years.

I think I've offered enough clues for them to debug.
I'm somewhat surprised. Am I the only one use more
than 13-year historical data? I bet they are extremely
busy now after the first week roll out. Don't want to
bother them too much.

Regards,
Clark
