<<"My friend has it already - we played it yesterday at his house - it's really cool".>>

Positive word of mouth is more valuable than any review. A few more anecdotes like this to confirm the trend and we are on our way.

<<Made my day to see Ben as excited as he was. And to think that my company made it happen.>>

I know EXACTLY the way this made you feel. Last year I was at a toy store in Philadelphia buying a toy truck for a friend's nephew. While there, a little boy and his mother were toy shopping. Overhearing their conversation it became clear that the boy's mother was treating him to any one toy he wanted. The pure joy and laughter he expressed during the search for this toy ("Hey Mom, how about this one! No...wait...what about this one!!) is something I won't soon forget (at least until I have kids of my own to take to the toy store.)

Thanks for reminding me of that day. It always makes me smile (as do the positive channel checks ;)

I just finished browsing 70s posts in usenet (minus 10s non-english posts). The first impression for those who played the game is average to good. It took about 15 to 20 hours to finish the game. While some like the simplicity of the game play, others said it is too bore and too typical. Base on what I read, Quest 64 will not satisfy the diehard RPG fans but nevertheless it is still a nice games for all age (especially younger boys like Ben)! Most agree that Quest 64 has nice smooth graphic and good music. For those serious RPG fans, they may buy/rent Quest for the meantime while waiting for Zelda 64. I think Quest 64 will sell fine but it may not be a mega-hit as some hoping for.

Special Note: There are few negative comments about Quest 64 but those authors show strong bias against the company - THQ. They think THQ is still the old TH*Q who only published garbage titles. Well those type of posts also appearred last Christmas during WCW time but it didn't stop THQ from selling million copies of WCW.

Visited the local mall this evening and they still had plenty of Quest 64 on hand. Also noticed a release date of June 30 for Granstream. Does this mean the sales of Granstream will also be included in the current quarter?
