Francis you make me laugh. That's not an analogy. It's not even close.

Intel is a respected company that has grown by staying focused and aggressively reinvesting in modern plants and human capital. They have made many contributions not only in our country but around the world.

There have been countless legal experts (not employed by Intel) that have come forward in defense of Intel. There have been business executives and professors that have said some of the tactics that Intel used (that the FTC finds so deplorable) are actually quite common and legal.
The fact that so many legal experts side with Intel should make it clear to the FTC that the problem is with the ambiguous and arcane anti-trust laws.

The FTC has not only disputed the law, but they trashed Intel. Intel has every right to vigorously defend themselves not only in court, but in public.

Intel has an ugly dispute with integraph. It is in court. That is where it belongs and that is where it should end. The FTC should stay out of it.

Now back to your analogy. If a police officer not only pulls you over and gives you a ticket, but trashes you and goes on tv and accuses you of abusing your neighbors. Are you going to defend yourself or are you going to keep your mouth shut and not get mouthy.

Dale

P.S. Thanks for the news briefs.
