Web site does confirm the need to send in a form, but I have no idea whether they're sticklers on this. See datek.com and select "withdrawls" on the left menu.

Not having used wire withdrawls, I'm thinking your suggestion to try them over checks is a good one. I'm used to getting socked with big fees for this, and since my account's relatively small, it hasn't seemed worth it in the past. But I can't find any mention of any fee charged for this anywhere--I gather there is none?

If I could get funds wired for free from Datek to my Waterhouse account (which is my bank), and get no fees charged on either end for this, that would be wonderful. Anyone know if this is possible?
