Yeah, Winston, I have a comment.

I could care less about Orb. But, what really, really, really bothers me is how come everyone else in the world can produce these things and make a profit with a much lower MSRP (ok, maybe not Syquest), and Iomega can't?

That is one of the reasons I sold all my stock. Something is very wrong with this company if they can't sell Zip drives for $99 and make a huge profit.

Their margins tell a different story (that they can't).

Either they have terrible negotiators or they are paying way too much for labor, parts and everything else.

Also, there's no way they shouldn't be able to sell Jaz drives for $199 and make a huge profit either. Something is wrong in Roy.

Iomega is losing more and more money. Iomega's growth rate is now a Decline rate. A 95% Decline rate year to year, if analyst forecasts are correct. Why would anyone want to invest in a stock like this?

Castlewood/Aiwa/Tran Capital/Sanyo's 2.16 Gigabyte Orb drive will bury Jaz and Syjet.

Sony and Teac will finish off Zip with their 200MB floppy-compatible HiFi drive.

Kodak has teamed up and bought products from Flash Card makers, leaving Iomega's Vapor! out in the cold. Still no OEM's for Vapor! Nobody wants to risk product returns from faulty Vapor! drives.

In this market, there are plenty of other stocks that are much much better investments than this sorry stock.
