You know when people lose real money, it is ugly.
I still follow some threads that I have had long positions and
recently they have been taking a shellacking.
I think most are watching in disbelief as their faves
are racheted down. It seems many have been conditioned
to expect a snapback. You can almost feel the talking to themselves
looking for re-assurance from each other. In a uptrend
everyone is talking about trendlines, breakouts, support,
triangles. Yet, as stock prices drop to new lows, everyone starts
talking about "VALUE". Yet they compare value to what it was last
month. The pressure cooker is starting to heat
up. If we get another selloff, there is going to be
some deeper pain.
At some point, the fear will grow and some wild shit could
happen. Besides, my puts are looking more and more "sophisticated"
