Wolfgangus - Thanks for the history. I believe your timing is excellent for getting back in. As you know, Lev has re-acquired about 1 million shares at 5 1/16 a couple months back which remains a strong vote of confidence followed by GM's endorsement and their finding it suitable for their year 2000 Electric Vehicles as well as starting/lights/ignition batteries that are presently lead-acid as most cars now have under the hood.

I was pleased to acquire more just under 4.75 on Friday. It's tough to hit the low and I congratulate those that did better. I believe Don Wolanchuk is correct that this is the last great buying opportunity before significant news. I also find it notable that he appears even more positive since witnessing the manufacturing operation.

Wolfgang: Quite a story, indeed. I started following VLNC, on a cursory basis since I was hip deep in the likes of DELL, MRK and a few others at the time, when I saw a video with, if memory serves, L.D. in it. He was demonstrating the battery. This was waaaay back during those halcyon +$20 days. In this video he had a sample battery, which looked to be as thin as a piece of paper. Attached to this battery were electrical leads which ran to a light bulb, which was lit. He proceeded to cut the battery with a pair of scissors, and for a period of time the light stayed lit!! Need I say that caught my attention?

However, they couldn't get the manufacturing process down, and the rest, as they say, was history. As for your statement regarding L.D. leaving because of a critical illness. Quite frankly I don't remember any reference to an illness being the cause of L.D.'s "resignation."(but since I was only peripherally watching VLNC at that time, I may have missed it). It seemed all the legal turmoil which arose when VLNC crashed, was the reason, and since he was the major "pitchman" behind the hyperbole at the time.....well....somebody's gotta be the fall guy, eh? This, me thinks, explains his reticence over news releases these days.

Still, if you can point out any past news releases where VLNC claimed L.D.'s departure was illness related, I'd be interested in reading about it. Many thanks. Meanwhile, this week should be interesting. Let's see how many others think VLNC's found bottom and is now a "GIMMEE!" Heh!

John~
