Companies are able to report certain types of income into other quarters I believe. We need to have the CPA types to clarify us on this, but certain contracts can be written to allow payments during difference quarters, and this can help a company smooth out the bumps in earnings cycles too. I believe large companies are especially prone to doing this. Unfortunately, we really don't know the details of these contracts and others in terms of income this quarter. Anyway, my sense is that Schmidt continues to exude confidence recently in how the business is going.
