Claus, why short Dell when you can short Gateway? They face the same risks re low priced pc's and don't have as much server business to cradle margins. AND the fucking cow motif; and the dorky CEO. Cows are good for one thing, and it ain't computers. (and it ain't tippin' or steak or milk; if you're not from the south, you wouldn't understand.)

Carl, Other than that I prefer long puts to short stock, I think it's a good idea. You may be a bit early, as they have lots of cash with which to play tricks, but Dell is definitely has a limited shelf life.
