Bill...Make sure the moving averages are using the same vertical scale (make sure "share vertical scales is checked"). This might help.

I've seen this same problem. Try this: Plot one of your moving averages with the "overlay" box checked. Now plot the same MA (but change color) with the "overlay" box UNchecked. One will be correct and the other NOT.

I've had MAs going up when price was falling...crazy!

Bill, when you're in the MA setup window, don't click the overlay option. Just leave it blank and the MA's should plot at their real values.

Why this is so, I have no clue, but it should work.
