Tom, Yogi; *Off Topic*

Quotes from your posts and others I saw:

"Impure, idle, weekend speculation :o)"

"Just my ramblings on a quiet Sunday morning"

"Here is some really idle ramblings on this Sunday morning for you"

"Pure, idle, weekend speculation,"

Now I am used to the usual self deprecating discount of JMO or IMHO but is there something about weekends that make us especially reckless??? <GGG>

Best,
Stitch

If Seagate could supply Maxtor with heads, they should buy Maxtor...but they can't even supply themselves.

RDRT will supply SEG and Maxtor with heads

How much of a margin will WDC make on IBM designed drives? IBM is WDC competitor, not its savior. It it will be in WDC's best interests to keep RDRT as a supplier.

Tom, you said >Survivors....QNTM, WDC (could become IBM division), MAXTOR (maybe), INVX<

Why would IBM need WDC when they have all the DD design talent they
require, and the best of WDC are probably IBM refugees?

You also said >Toast........RDRT, APM, KMAG<

ReadRite will survive.

GM - not so humble.
