Say Hi to Hedy Lamarr
Qualcomm uses CDMA in their cellphones.

I have been using Ricochet since Dec 1996. This is better than a getting a 2nd phone line. The next generation modem is the Autobahn at 128kbps due out in early 1999. To find out about coverage go to
ricochet.net

Hi Scott-

I've looked into Ricochet before and on a cost basis (ignoring the equipment cost) it's not able to beat what I have, though for most people it would be very competitive. Santos has been using them for well over a year, I think, and he's quite a ways south of me in Santa Clara. As I remember he's very happy with them. You out there Santos? Have they said anything more about higher access speeds? When I was having speed problems with my supplier I was tempted to change anyway, but they've since gotten that improved to where I can now consistently get 28.8, occasionally higher.

A WebMan?! That's all we need is a bunch more wienies driving with a cell phone stuck in their ear while they punch buttons on a computer!! Aaaargh!
