One last thing.

As far as where I work, I maintain my anonymity for personal reasons.

I understand and respect your desire to maintain anonymity. I was only asking if you worked for a company involved in this issue. Your answer is no, and I take it at face value. Assuming you have no vested interest, it's too bad you can't see behind the scenes. I believe you'd have a less negative view of Microsoft's actions than you seem to now.
