DGIV can gain few dollars in ONE day at any moment regardless of what is Japanese or any other market doing. This is explosively developing CO.which can deliver great news without any prior notice. This had happened before and will happen again.I check the list of OTC BB stocks- gainers, every day and every day there are few(at least) OTC BB stocks that gain 50% ,100% or more, regardless of the market conditions.Besides,
US stock market is not in any scary position. It is up 1200 points since January so even if it goes down another few houndred points ,it would still be in positive for the year.Japanese market has been depressed for 7-8 years, while US market has been going up with minor corrections.Bob

Doc I disagree with your theory.

....."when markets drop most investors get out of risky stocks and head for safety--that happens in every world market whenever there is a major, scary downtrend."
Um doc if we were discussing this on the Dell thread I would agree with you, but this is a microcap and if you are invested in these companies you fit 1 of 4 profiles. 1) you are high risk taker and have made a determination that this company has what it takes. 2) You had a friend or a family friend tell you this is the next netscape or microsoft and you trust that individual. 3) You are a proficient or at least you think you are a proficient trader and will flip micro caps as soon as look at them. or 4) You are a MM and you need to maintain a market for this company. No one IMHO will invest in this or any other BB with the mind to fly to quality upon poor sector or index performance.

P.S. you also said:
.how many japanese stocks are higher than they were 8 years ago?
Well if thats relevant than all US stocks must be doing great because the S&P has been flying for 7 - 8 years
