Jimmy.......

My post to you was a standard one which meant no harm or ill intent. I did not think it would have annoyed you.

Over the years I would say that posts on golf would never put a dent in the number of posts on e-mail virus hoaxes on SI. SI even has a thread, recently started, on the topic.

The penchant of TSO to accept off topic commentary has always been a part of it's appeal to me.

As far as the virus hoax, I was surprised you got caught up in it; but I suppose I should not have been. I get e-mails. I meet people in industry....even those in MIS...who get fooled by the scam every day. I wish I carried around a URL link in my pocket to give to these people. Here I am, telling them it's BS, but these people would rather rely on HEARSAY without ever checking it out for themselves.

Unlike golf commentary, it's turns into a chainletter.......

A bunch of well-intentioned people who never bothered to check the facts first.

I responded to you as if it was a joke, please don't get ticked off at me.....very often I have seen posters get very rude about alarmist posts such as yours.

In closing, If you don't like my golf posts.....then I'm not posting at all. I like to discuss whatever anyone asks me to discuss. I will not censor myself on one topic because you don't like it.
