Yes he is on the property. Six years ago I had an extra $14,000 and was going to buy 1,000 shares of Dell stock but my wife was into horses so the money went for a pole barn and fencing in the back three acres.

She started with a tri-color paint mare and I bought her a black walker gelding. She didn't like the walker gait so I sold him and he is now on the beach in Hawaii. She kept the mare who is now the mama and bought a sorrel quarter horse gelding. So now we have three horses.

Our neighbor also has three horses. A 36 year old mare she still rides, a 27 year old mare and a 12 year old mare that is an appaloosa/draft horse cross and 17 hands tall.

I had a 16 1/2 hand black blanket appaloosa that was mean and I got hurt, so I'm not all that into horses myself. That app went to a big, fat lady, at least 350 pounds. Two guys would help her into the saddle and she would ride him full bore wide open. That took some of the spunk out of him.
