HH, I don't normally resort to flaming. I saw this guy go on national TV (ABC) and tell the audience that (1) big mergers are really good for the shareholders and (2) index funds is the way to go NOW. I felt that opinions form the likes of him, who are potrayed as "experts" on the TV will cause the uninformed investors to lose their shirts. Call it taking a stand or call it trying to be altruistic, I thought these elements should be confronted before they do much more damage. In other words, I felt sick of the way the likes of him spread the "don't worry, be happy" attitude among the investors. So I reacted. Perhaps unbecoming of me, but I took something out of my chest. -MMV
