Umm, Solv Ex has had a bankruptcy filing accepted recently, but still trades every day. It closed at 0 3/4 on Friday. I don't believe that PLSIA is quoted or traded, but should come out of that at some point in time, albeit at a lower price. I do believe the law states that it's when the Secretary of the Treasury declares the security substantially worthless.

Regardless of how the law reads, the CPA's and tax preparers should not have to worry about employment for some time.
