The San Diego Union Tribune featured an article today on a Brain Trust meeting with local companies on the subject of Asian effects.The article basically stated that QUALCOMM feels that there relationships in Asia remain strong and that they feel there will be a turn around in the near future.The 4 Q is around the corner and the potential for an upswing is lurking behind the current asian clouds.With all that is developing in other areas of the world like in Latin America this could be the moment we have been waiting for after the recent sell off and consolidation. QUALCOMM also will be building and starting production of there phone line in Brazil as they have selected a site for the new manufacturing facility.QUALCOMM will also be announcing if they plan to bid for cellular property being spun off by Brazils goverment owned telecomm that is going private.
