Any major "carrying on" about game violence could simply result in more sales. Books and cd's that are deemed "offensive" frequently experience rising sales, not falling ones. Tell young people not to buy something because it is "bad" and what happens? More people than ever want it. I wouldn't worry too much about losing sales because of some Tipper- Gorish campaign against violent games.
