Darren, Good TA is an oxymoron. If you don't have a valuation system that tells you when something is cheap and when it is dear, then allowing traders to whipsaw you is not a great play. Sometimes the stocks keep going up, as Ascend did this time, but most of the time smart traders simply suck in the TA types for a quick profit. I guess that's why I'm a trader and not a good TA type. Which is why you are embarrassing me when you say coat-tailers are dogs. Profit is profit, and I don't care how it's earned. If you make profit (legally), you are good at this game. I've seen many who can't even do that...
