I did not mean to gloss over Nigeria's accomplishment; they have a great coach in Milutinovic and a vastly talented side. Who knows? They are very good, and their win over Spain was very impressive indeed. I thought Spain played well in defeat, which says a lot for the Nigerian side.

I agree Spain played well, in fact until the third Nigerian goal, they had been in the lead 1 x 0 and 2 x 1.... I simply think they never expected to find such a strong opponent in the Nigerians...

No doubt as we speak, the Spaniards are sitting on a red arse, which may prove to be the perfect motivation for their comeback.
