The simplest argument contrary to those who argue that RDRTs head technology is mere commodity is the R&D spending and technological improvements at each new platform. With DRAMs, the technology is not changing. In other words, memory is memory. Heads are not heads. As for RDRT, it would be nice to see some type of restructuring to re-align their profitability with current revenues. This would likely be well received. Stitch - you mentioned in the past that you had some friends at RDRT. Do they share your long term doom/gloom outlook? Or, do they see light at the end of this dark tunnel?
