Looks like another moderate beating going on in Asia. Hong Kong in the 7500's, Japan in the 14000's again. Wonder if the next move by the Fed will actually be a decrease eventually rather than an increase. The dismal technical condition of the market should continue to weigh on sentiment as the survey is loaded with technicians. I think as long as the money supply keeps getting pumped up Bob's model should be positive. I wonder if recovery of semiconductor capital equipment stocks is going to get pushed out further or if now's the time to establish a position in the AMAT's of the world. I guess a giant issue is will China eventually devalue (unlikely) with Hong Kong breaking the peg. If that eventually happened might set off another world currency crisis and the Fed could ease and that could be the start of a real recovery. Maybe these incompetents in Japan will lose power and aggressive economic stimulus and reform will actually take place at some point.
