William & Glenn, I'm not playing games, thats why I try to keep my answers short. If you can't see that the internet is changing everything then I'm sorry. I'm not here to evangelize the internet - I was just stating the situation as I see it. Why is retailing dead? Ask Egghead. They announced closure of all their stores not too long ago. That is just one example of change. Soon, it is my belief others will follow. For instance, music retailers like Sam Goody, Musicland, etc. They will all close up shop and move to the internet. But again, they'll be late. Maybe because they've got people like you as leaders (no disrespect) who simply don't see the signs or get the message. Why did the biggest online service just fizzle and die? I'm talking about Compuserve. They never got the message. They tried to resist the market drive to the internet. They could have been huge but they refused to believe what was happening. They lost it all to AOL(???) Yes, it is as simple as getting a warehouse, a server, a webmaster and a few good ideas. Thats all you need now to make a serious legitimate business and money. If others share the vision & concept which has now been proven to work, then where's the crime? I suppose the gold diggers in the wild west had a crazy vision too. Same as the criminals who built Las Vegas. Its called "VISION". Amazon is too big to be a scam. Get real. Get some vision. One of you suggested I work for Amazon? They are too big to waste their time on here trying to convince a couple of bozos that the world has changed. Haven't you seen Amazon's ads on TV - thats where the change is happening - in the market. No - I don't work for Amazon - I'm just amazed that people like you are insisting on living in a fantasy world where anything you short will crash and anything you buy will run. Its really sad to see people lose money like that. I've been there and learned.
