Gary, My view is a bit wider. I see the comm suppliers getting into the shopping cart businesses where they offer a lot of product to customers, even if it is only tangentially related. You say they do not want low margin businesses, but their business, even in your own scenario, is doomed to become low margin. Better lots of low margin sales than less low margin sales. <G>

I did not say that SFA and Gorilla etc. were likely marriage candidates, just possible ones. And more probably than a Telco. Northern Telecom is also a low margin business, at least over a full comm tech cycle, and they merged with Bay, which is a former high margin business, so these things do happen.
