I saw the chart on TV, LA Biz channel T/A guy did a half hour presentation on Asia and deflation. I don't get CNBC, but people tell me you would never see this kind of bearish coverage on it.

The chart had an inflation blip in 1920 (which would mimic 1987) and preceded to decline from there and looks similar to the current chart.

I've been studying the Intel chart as an H&S candidate. Left shoulder in early 97 had monthly average volume of around 145 mill and the right shoulder (Jan-present) average monthly volume was around 85 million.

The recent daily average volume is 16 million shares and the day the intel broke though the 70 neckline it traded 27 million shares and the dip buyers brought it back up to the neckline on mostly below average volume.

The head and shoulders pattern projects a price in the 30's for Intel.
