Bonnie- I currently am long BYH. Sure seems cheap at earnings of approx. US$1.50 per ADR for a strictly domestic chemical (largely plastic resins) producer. Yield based on recent dividend is 6.7%.

If China devalues its currency, Chinese ADRs will tumble. If not, the Chinese economy may slow down and Chinese ADRs will - you guessed it - tumble.

I'd wait for the Chinese shoe to drop before going back.

Bonnie,

Sorry, I was out of town. Just back and leave again tomorrow for Manila. I am not buying the ADRs but the only caution I am aware of is the general Asia situation. Check with Tom Yarnall on the HK thread as I think he follows them.

Best,
Stitch
