With the recent lows, I've been kicking myself for not picking up more shares for the long run....although I can't get out of what I'm in as there is good news "in the future" (common theme running through my holdings) for these other ones.
Agree with you, though.....news will hopefully be positive (financials, "merger", more orders) and will get the eye (and ears)
of other investors. If we could see some positive moves on the major exchanges and get out of these doldrums, some tight fists might be relaxed and some money might start to flow.... can we blame Asia for all of this?
Oh well... back to the golf course in the morning... a bad day on the course is better than watching the markets!!! Quarry Oaks tomorrow morning!

Gene, don't know all the answers, but I can tell you on pretty good authority that a fairly good size chunk of the post news trading has gone into good hands and did not come out as a result of company fundamentals.
