Sonny-OT I guess you are dealing with NB? gg.

Actually, I have considered moving my business to NB for obvious reasons, but have not actually done so. I started dealing with a small-town agriculturally oriented bank when I moved here 10 years ago) and continue to do so far all the reasons that people like small town banks. The tellers ( all 4 of them) , the loan officer, and the branch VP all know me, even when they answer the phone. (My Yankee accent might give them a clue) They give me anything I want, often no down payment loans, and willingly negotiate interest rates. They give me loan commitments on the spot, over the phone, and even fill out the applications and I just sign them when I go get the funds.

I concur with your views on the market as it approaches tops. I think we have seen two waves of profit-taking this year as the Dow moved into the low 9000's and then fell back. Actually, I have reduced my position each time it neared a high, but have not really moved back in on the downswings.

I do think we will go to new highs this summer as foriegn funds move into the (relatively) strong US economy. Baby boomers will also continue to put more money into the market, which is actually kind of scary.

Glad to see your back at the keyboard!!
