Greeting Mr Pink.

This should be interesting now that you are here. Reading was becoming a bit dull lately. Well, at least we both agree on ICBC.
Disappointed in the CLCX puts though.

Mr. Pink:
1. Who is SIR capital?

2. Was this an equity deal or simple loan?

3. If you are correct, there will be a filing shortly.

Your position is what makes a horse race, and have have a major bet against you. You said that the stock is over hyped. By who? there are NO street recommendations other that Hannifen. How could only one analyst overhype a stock, hell there are no other reports out.
Also, anyone that comes on a thread and does not reveal his or her real name has no credibility as far as I'm concerned. Mr. Pink, what a joke!!

I'm not opposed to shorting, in fact I am currently and quite happily short SCMM and MU. I have to guess that you shorted TAVA near the high and are now trying to drag some others in behind you. This stock is not a good short candidate for a number of reasons, and anyone contemplating shorting this stock should do some extensive due diligence first. There are lots of good shorts around right now, and this is not one of them; particularly at the current level and particularly in light of timing.

TAVA was 9 9/16 June 16th, the day after your short recommendation. Today it is 9 9/16. It does look as bogus on paper as other yk2 companies (iaic comes to mind -- check the numbers.) At any rate, is this still a good short? They raised 13MM; additional financing brings their number of shares to 21MM, they got added to the russell 2000 index (!), and they file an "8-k" with the SEC every month or so with some press-release info about new deals or deals to date (one of the most bogus, hype-style things I've ever seen -- any other software company actually file their new order press releases with the SEC???) so the whole things does look like they are burning money pretty fast. Any word on the second quarter? Is it still a short? Would you recommend buying puts (feb99 7.5 or 10's?) if the stock "isn't available for shorting" as my broker sometimes says (DLJ)?
