Gees, no one posting now. I finally get to a computer and everyone splits! Oh, well. Maybe something's in the mill. Over at ESVS/Yahoo, they've got PsychicJohny who tries to predict when Zulu/ESVS news releases will emerge; they've got Mafiaboss11 whose successfully picked three sports results in a row, including the Expos beating the Yanks (who would ever have thought?). This was a feat particularly amazing given that the Yankees are playing near .800 percentage baseball! And now me. Me? Yup. I'm now stuck on numerology. You see, I just got Post #1600 on the ESVS thread; and I just recently picked up post #8888 on this thread. Could these nice round numbers indicate a change in luck? Are we heading for lucky eights? If you Doubleclick eight you get 16! Hmmmm. I wonder if numerology really works?!? Well, if it doesn't, I can draw back on becoming like "The Wizard" (some of you from New York may remember him) who was an elderly and statesman-like gentleman who, back in 1966, always wore an impeccable suit and who would daily arrive in New York's Washington Square Park where you'd find Rolling Stones types, people with long hair, wearing Sgt. Peppers band coats and David Peel and the Lower East Side folks sitting 'round all the other chess tables, singing songs about marijuna and all. Sure enough, the Wizard would always be sporting his New York Times, a bag with lunch and a box of Staunton chess pieces. He'd only play you for a nickel; nothing more, nothing less. On the other hand, if Zulu becomes big (like Disney, the currently prevailing notion), I could buy back my camper, fix it up and visit all of the poor neighborhoods and hand out checks to all who held a twinkle of hope within their eyes. Oh, well. Sunday night dreams without the sleep. Fare ye well tomorrow. Let's hope so! Let's see, eight-eight-eight-eight and sixteen hundred and ... I always hoped we'd get a nice pop by SI Post #10,000. Hmmm, ten thousand minus eight-eight-eight-eight is ... Well, I guess I'll post this on ESVS/Yahoo and then go find some sleep somewhere.............
