Henry, the story Fugazi is talking about is in my local paper in NJ and was written by the Associated Press in Chicago. I tried going online to link the story but it wasn't in the online version of the paper. The headline of the article is "Fat-Fighting Hormone a Disappointment". The article indicates that leptin is not the miracle fat cure some hoped it would be.In the first trial on humans some lost as many as 35 pounds while others lost no weight and others got pudgier.
