Deeber, the Asia situation hurts the USA deeper than anyone imagined. My family lumber business in Georgia is surprisingly affected. Lumber prices are down over 25% from last year even though interest rates are down and housing construction is booming. Why? Asia!!! Lumber that normally is exported from Canada and other countries to Asia is now landing on my door step!. Don't underestimate the impact of an Asia recession on the USA. Our economies are now linked in ways that no one completely understands.
