I liked the statement the new CEO made regarding planned growth:
Double Digit revenue growth
Earnings growth twice that of revenue growth
Annual 5 year growth twice that of the diagnostic market

Now, can he deliver - and how long do we have to wait to see a reflection on the stock price?

Joe

Mike, Thanks for the review of the conference call. I was not able to listen to it directly, so your informed comments were extremely welcome! Go QDEL!!!

Good investing to all,

Steve

Mr.DeBruin came from Somatogen where from August of 1994 to it's
being sold to Baxter in 1998 generated only a 3% compound rate of return to investors. That's right 3%. Note that at SMTG he owned virtually no stock only a ton of options-He participates in any upside but has none of his own money at risk. The fact that at another company he's been hired by with the same deal is very troubling.
I hope that the results in QDEL do not mirror SMTG. P.S. He was only
making 350k at SMTG.
