You can group stocks by industry categories by creating a new profile in QP Virtual based on IRL (Investors Reference Library) Industry Groups. You'll see what all the groups are after you create the profile. To create it, click on the Start button, then programs, then Quotes Plus Release 2.0, then QP Virtual Setup. Once in the Virtual Setup, click on New, then under "Based On," check IRL Industy Groups. Select a drive and directory name and hit Create. Remember the name of the directory, because you'll need to find it in WOW or Metastock when looking at the charts. Once you do go to WOW or Metastock, you'll see how everything is grouped into industry categories, in lots of directories and subdirectories. You can also see all the groupings by opening the profile in QPV Setup. Click on the folders after you bring up your new IRL profile, and you'll see lots of subfolders. All of these directories of virtual files are automatically updated.

I'll send you a HyperSchnapped gif of a QP chart, so you can compare.

Brooke

Ken,

I also have "dull" charts with QP1 and 2. I only attributed it to my graphics accellerator, which is an ATI 3d something or to my monitor.

I am happy, that I am not alone with this phenomenon. Of course I could have complained, but it seemed too mysterious.
