Larry,

I know the whisper numbers for Micron are close to a $1 a share but I have not been able to calculate that high a number.

Excluding any charges and assume MUEI comes in with $.04 I see MU with a loss of $.59. My assumptions were 90%SDRAM and 10%EDO for 16mb chips. Also I assumed 50% 16mb and 50% 64mb chips. If I am right then Micron will still have $810 million in free cash and liquid investments. A significant amount compared to the "little cash left" that some unnamed bear on this thread has insisted on.<vbg>

If they do better that this $.59 than we may see a pop from here.

Flat right now waiting for MUEI after bell.

Good Luck Trading

DavidG

Larry, like I did last December, I am going to stick my neck out. I think that MU will drop toward 18 into earnings announcement, spike down another back post earning ($17 +/- $.5) which will be a pretty good short term buying opportunity (to about 28 or so by the end of July beginning of August).

The turnips have spoken (VBG).
