gbh, a man with common sense. Well, it depends on how the media reports this. As far as I am concerned,NT is the most powerful company in the world now. I was afraid of them before,and now I am afraid of them even more,especially in the fiber optic,and cable markets. LANCity dominates cable modems,NT has a kick ass DWDM system. CSCO is going to get crushed,the CSCO kid was not a friend of NT. CSCO is working with CIEN on DWDM,don't know how far along it is. The Accelar needs fiber optics,BAY had no experience(though working with Cambrian and NN is now in doubt). Hiram
