<<Kind've OT>> Good Morning, SEEKers... Maybe it was just that the stock got oversold? Maybe new money's cycling in because of the weakness in the overall market? Maybe shorts just got a little too confident and actually started believing some of the stuff about SEEK being a "trash stock"? Maybe there's A HUGE DEAL WITH CBS on the horizon or DELL or DIS or WARNER? Maybe it's all just MM's? Or, maybe, this is a good stock to own and hold as its MANAGEMENT builds, improves, and positions for greater growth Hey, whatever. NICE DAY. VERY NICE DAY I'm sure this is not true of every SHORTER, but it appears to me that many of them NEVER DEFEND THEIR POSITION when things are turning against them. They just get quiet... and move on... because there's always tomorrow... and another stock they can short. There does not seem to be much concern about CREDIBILITY... indeed, it appears that when you truck and trade in extreme remarks about a stock... CREDIBLITY would be your last and least concern. I've seen some regular SHORTERS now at work over the months since being in SEEK... seen them play out their absurdly negative comments on Yahoo! and sometimes here as well. Again, this is NOT TRUE of all SHORTERS, but some it appears actually rely on the fact that there aren't regulars on threads... they try to prey upon the newbies by painting the direst scenarios or sometimes INVENTING NEWS. (Now, it isn't any better for a LONG to invent news, either.) They count on investor turnover. And, though we all doubt that such remarks (extremely positive or negative) have ANY effect on the price of a stock, obviously some SHORTERS believe that their remarks DO work. Oh, well. NICE DAY. VERY, VERY NICE DAY. Best Regards, SEEKers, c m
