(VLSI) 15 11/16 +7/16: Gruntal & Co. reiterates "strong buy" with a 12-month price target of $30 on designer and manufacturer of custom and semi-custom integrated circuits as company unveils its new CDMA controller chipset product line; while volume shipments are not available until early 1999, CDMA+ will power cellular phones moving forward; believes CDMA standard will be the platform of the future as it operates three times faster than GSM, transfer data quicker and uses bandwidth more efficiently; views announcement as positive even though difficult to determine revenue projections for CDMA at this time.....
