Appears to me we are in no person's land. This is the big time struggle...bulls vs. bears. We hit lower lows on the DOW 8,700 the other day and now they are stuggling. Do we go higher from here or lower? The battle wages on.

Looking at the daily DOW chart, it would appear that we are going lower. We broke the key resistance point and are stuggling to stay above it. The market looks sick...and internals would suggest the same.

However, the bulls managed to keep it above the key resistance point on a closing basis and the pull back this morning was not as low as Friday. This morning's sell-off appears stalled, yet there seems to be very little buying coming into the market. TICK has been negative most of the day.

What does it all mean? For now, I think we are in a sideways market till one camp or the other wins out in this most recent struggle. (How is that for profound????...I could be market commentator on TV!) There are clear arguments both ways on this one. I don't think we will continue with the volatile market we have had as of late. I think that will slow down. One side or the other will win...and soon. Either this thing rocks into JULY/AUG or we tank very soon.

...and no I have no idea right now which will win....
