To All, It's a lovely day in the neighborhood, at least for our puts. Not so hot for our longs.

1. Gateway didn't act like a stock that had seen the bottom of the pc cycle. <G> These geeks are lowering prices again. That sure helps margins stay up.

2. MUEI reported a disastrous 6 cents in eps. Whatever happened to Sal Habash and Fred Fahmy, the MUEI lovers who used to think this stock was going to the Moon? Perhaps they are on the Mir Space Station. I was wondering why that thing didn't work right.

MUEI is claiming that this was a great quarter where they really got their act together. I expected this garbage. Analysts were predicting 4 cents a share, and the extra tuppence was why MUEI reported 3 days before MU. These Ida-Hos will try any trick they can to hype their stocks.

3. Wow, Chase is only double fair value now. Whoops, scratch that, it was a stock split. <G>

4. IBM and Mother Merrill are coming to daddy.

5. Wish somebody would tell the airlines that they should be trading down bigtime. Preferably before July perspiration day.

Good luck,

MB
