This is a technological breakthrough sought after globally for over 30 years said Roger Fleming, President, COO and one of the co-inventors of this technology. Dr. Sid Asthana, American Tire Corporation's chief Chemist who shares this technological innovation and Jim Moore, Manager of Mold and Process Development say this is just the first step in advancing the synergy of this process and chemistry. Derek Bowers, who is Manager of American Tire Corporation's Engineering Department, says the improved rolling resistance provides an enormous advantage to the bicycle rider by reducing the energy that must be used to keep the bike moving.
