This agrees with my limited info. Rates $7000 to $7500 now, they say. More idle rig will hurt. Still, this weakness seems limited to the Gulf from what I hear. Example:

As long as the weakness stays in the gulf, I think we are OK. Especially if OPEC make a major move to get oil to their recently mentioned fair price of $18.
