Viper could this be dis-information for buying opportunity or the straight poop, that something less than desired is amiss?

viper,

It appears to me that you know what I know!! BUT, it also looks to me that it bothers you whereas it does NOT bother me at all!!

viper, you shouldn't be surprised nor disappointed if this well needs an acid job. 99% of the completion engineers in this city would have bet that this well WOULD require an acid job before being placed on production!!! This is GREAT NEWS!! There is a reason to stimulate the well!!! [Bad news would have been that they didn't have any sign of gas. Or, that they had gas but it was not worth chasing because it was too sour.]

I do not have Caroline flow info handy at the moment. I will have to dig into that later.

And, your question on recovery is impossible for ME to answer quantitatively (the "gain" can be anything in the range of nil to infinite!!!!!). Without access to all technical data on the well it is impossible for anyone to "competently" project for you what "recovery" to expect.

I'll comment more on "formation damage" later but I'm going buying some bargains now.

Later,
grayhairs
